On Nov 15, 2018 at the start of the annual MABU Thanksgiving Tournament held at the Airport Holiday Inn in Atlanta, the MABU and their teachers welcomed the following eighteen (18) new players to our wonderful world of Duplicate Bridge:

THE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE (NTC) HAS AUTHORIZED FIVE (5) TABLES, OR MORE AS THE NUMBER OF TABLES NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OVERALL NATIONWIDE COMPETITION. THIS CHANGE MAKES THE NATIONWIDE GAMES CONSISTENT WITH THE ABA MINIMUM TABLE REQUIREMENT FOR A 100% AWARD IN A SANCTIONED ABA OPEN PAIR GAME. REGARDLESS, OF THE NUMBER OF TABLES IN PLAY EACH GAME MUST PLAY 24 BOARDS. PLEASE CONTACT THE NATIONWIDE DIC PRIOR TO GAME DATE TO SIGN YOUR CLUB/UNIT UP AND PARTICIPATE IN THE GAMES.
